Love Makes a Home

Hi there, I hope you're having a good week!  I have a dear friend that is moving out of state soon and I made a card today that I will send once she and her husband are settled in their new home.

This card began when I was flipping through the Heart of Home patterned paper, saw the sentiment and thought of my friend, who had just signed the documents to purchase her house.  She has the biggest heart and embodies that friend that spreads love and lightness wherever she goes.  I know that new house will be filled with love once she moves in.

I chose a couple of patterns from the paper pad and added them to the kraft card base and horizontal strip.  The large heart was die cut from corrugated card stock, a doily added on top, then the small sentiment panel.  A couple of little wood hearts and some jute twine were the only embellishments.

I've used the current sketch challenge at The Paper Players for my card design, plus I'm joining the Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.  I've added links below, so be sure to head over to both challenges and enjoy all the beautiful inspiration!
